This park, located on a mountain opposite to the volcano and Arenal lake, offers the most breathtaking panoramic views. As you start hiking and cross the first of 6 big bridges you get immersed in the normally hard to observe world of the tree canopy. You'll witness the diverse flora and fauna that call this ecosystem home, gaining a deeper understanding of its delicate balance. Using his trained eyes and ears your guide will aim his telescope for maximum observation of each sighting. Next on our list is a visit to the lava fields at the foot of the Arenal Volcano. Here we go through the lava following a trail that takes us to the best viewpoint. Standing between the big black rocks you enjoy a 360 view of all of La Fortuna's stunning surroundings.
